• When I was in high school, my main hobby was tinkering with motorized scooters. I loved tearing down the motors and replacing whatever parts I could. Cars are also a passion of mine. These two pieces of the puzzle led me to attend WyoTech Automotive Technical School in Sacramento.• A month after graduation, I found my first job at Toyota. My experience gained from the last decade working for Toyota has taught me numerous things. To name a few, I have learned how to successfully train and lead a team of technicians in the express service department, I have learned how to provide quality workmanship by being meticulous and thorough, and I have learned how to provide direct customer service with positive results. Learning these skills, among others, has fueled me to shift to a more suitable environment where I can apply myself in ways I have never imagined.• My greatest accomplishment in my career was taking first place in a Southern California Toyota Dealership service competition. This included the best two-man team from each of the 70+ dealerships to compete. The competition was a basic service with two men, and the winner is determined by fastest time and least amount of mistakes or items missed.• Computers have always been a part of my family since I can remember. My dad was always showing me games or programs on his desktop. Throughout my father's career, he has led multiple companies to their success in the cyber-security field, and his drive and passion for the subject throughout my life make me feel naturally comfortable entering the computer industry.• A proud accomplishment of mine was building my own desktop PC, and after completing, I realized that working on computers and programs involve the some of the same processes and steps that are required in the automotive industry.• After searching for reputable schools, I found LearningFuze Web Development Bootcamp. The skills that LearningFuze have taught me are the exact set of skills that I was looking for to start applying myself in this industry.   • Lube Tech -Received manufacturer training to service each vehicle.• Team Leader - Express Lube -Organized rotating tasks for each technician. -Trained new employees entering the express service department. -Organized shift schedules for team. -Maintained and re-stocked parts supply cabinets for servicing vehicles. -Often communicated vehicle concerns directly with customers for clarification and better understanding, and went for test drives with customers to verify concerns. -Conducted team meetings to update team on changes from management.• Line Tech Apprentice -Learned to work with main service team to complete larger jobs.• Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician -Received shipments of new vehicles from delivery trucks. -Completed multi-point inspection, test drive, and delivery of new vehicles to sales department before sales lists the vehicles for sale.
