An individual who is determined to obtain a position in the field of science with a future goal of becoming a dental professional. I am currently attending Cabrini University and have maintained a 4.00 GPA throughout my classes thus far. I have leadership experience as evidenced by my positions as a Student Ambassador for the school and a Resident Assistant within the residence halls on campus. I also have experience as a school bus summer maintenance worker for Brightbill Body Works in 2018 and have been working as a soccer referee since January 2019. My abilities include performing microscopy, calorimetry, synthesizing compounds, titrations, testing reaction rates in a laboratory, and more science specific capabilities as listed under my skills. My time management and prioritization skills have been honed through being a student athlete on the Cabrini Men’s Tennis team, working for the university as mentioned previously, and by continuing to excel in my classes. I also have various volunteer experiences that have helped to make me more well-rounded and prepared for any field of work. For example, one volunteer experience that I have is at a carnival each summer for my local fire company where I can serve my community while obtaining experience in food stand operations. Additionally, I help as a server at monthly community meals and a seasonal church camp called Summer Adventure at my church, Myerstown United Church of Christ. While I am at Cabrini University, I assist with the PB&J nights on campus where we travel as a group into Philadelphia each month to give people experiencing homelessness meals. Specifically referring to dentistry, I have shadowed over 200 hours at various dental facilities and have been fortunate enough to observe a number of dental professionals during that time.
