I am a practicing interior designer with a passion for technical drafting and human-centered design. I hold a diploma in Interior Design from the Visual College of Art & Design (VCAD) in Vancouver.My education provided me with a strong foundation in design principles and processes, along with technical proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). In my current role at Articulated Design Studio, I have honed my skills in concept development, space planning, preparing schematic design packages, and 3D modeling, ensuring that each project is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.Beyond my design skills, I bring a wealth of retail experience, including seven years in management and three years focusing on visual merchandising. My roles at Wildlife Thrift, Starbucks, and Bath and Body Works have refined my efficiency, professionalism, problem-solving abilities, leadership, and teamwork skills. As a hands-on leader, I have managed daily operations, trained new associates, and optimized merchandise displays based on constantly changing inventory, as well as customer activity.I am deeply passionate about interior design and am always seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and network within the field.
