Backing brave founders at Icehouse Ventures 🚀 I started my career in Venture Capital at the age of 19 from a passion of working with founders building global companies. Joined Icehouse Ventures as an early employee in 2017, since then we have now gone on to back more than 340 Kiwi companies and invest more than $400m. A couple highlights of my journey so far:- Personally raised over NZ$30m in venture funds from high net worth investors (International and NZ), family offices and iwis.- Started and raised a NZ$5.2m venture fund that invests and supports young founders under the age of 30 called First Cut.- Annually organise New Zealands largest gathering of startup investors called Showcase and largest most exclusive founder retreats called No Barriers.Also personally a (small) investor and supporter of a few startups including; First AML, Osho, Mint Innovation, Dawn Aerospace, Ethique (Acquired), Energy Bank, KiwiFibre, New Ground, PayleadrForbes 30 Under 302023 Young New Zealander of the Year Semi-Finalist
