Worked as a Project Associate in the Asset Innovation and Industrial Innovations project teams to assist in business development, project feasibility and development, market research, and client consulting in the hard-to-abate industrial sector. Predominantly focused in service offerings in the voluntary carbon market, we helped external clients to assess their project activities and eligibility through proposals and offerings related to carbon services, project feasibility, and carbon offset project development. Additionally, helped in other business development projects to expand to other industrial sectors and explore offerings related to Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Article 6 of the Paris Agreement or other regulated carbon cap and trade programs.

Worked under the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Water Districts Section as a natural resources specialist to assist section engineers on Municipal Water District projects. I also assisted districts with legal compliance document reviews, multi-million dollar bond applications, and any other questions from district engineers, attorneys, or financial advisors. In addition, I also took up a role in reviewing and approving district emergency applications, and other project based responsibilities.

As a Writing and Research Intern I collaborated with team members and team leads to critique and conceptualize 51 sustainable educational articles of varying topics and scopes of impact to be used in a wholistic sustainable educational system. My work as a Business Development Intern consisted of collaborating with the sales team to develop business practices to increase sales in a B2B and B2C space, and formulating a project to transition current personal sustainable education to be applicable for businesses.

During this role I learned independent workplace skills such as meeting deadlines, creating relations with other companies, troubleshooting skills to increase manufacturing efficiency by 25%, and excel in fabrication education. Additionally my main responsibilities consisted of receiving and documenting material for production, prepare products for welding, and ship final products.
