I facilitated the Escalation Workshop, a film-based discussion that opens participants' eyes to the warning signs of intimate partner violence, across The Ohio State University campus. In addition to empowering young people to acknowledge toxic relationships and seek professional help, I aided survivors in creating recovery strategies for life after abuse. To achieve my status as a facilitator, I spent several weeks training and conducting research about the complex dynamics of intimate partner violence. — Collaborated with OSU colleagues and artists to choreograph, perform, and produce a dance-film in promotion of One Love's #ThatsNotLove campaign.— Led an Escalation Workshop at the OSU Mortiz College of Law following a speaking engagement by Denise Kontras of the Ohio Domestic Violence Network titled Not on My Campus: Battling Dating Violence & Sexual Assault.— Taught dance intensives while incorporating fundamentals from the Escalation Workshop to children, teens, and young adults at local dance studios in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
