· Lead Developer of a Unity contract project at PrairieSTEM. I oversaw the design and development of the game logic, UI, and networking code. I successfully led the project with two fully-featured contract milestones completed. I am always eager to research new technologies or programming patterns that we can bring into the project to facilitate modular code. For example, I decided to switch our networking library to Photon Fusion, which allowed for more seamless physics simulations over the network.· Implementation included multiple levels, customization options, and networked multiplayer using the Photon Fusion networking library. I made heavy use of Scriptable Objects as event channels to which I subscribe Components to within the scene to avoid hard references. In addition, I viewed each scene as a clean slate, preventing the use of global singletons that live between scenes; this approach allowed me to create unique and modular functionality in each level without needing to implement a workaround in existing code.· All of that has given me extensive experience with Unity, the C# language, and .NET environment.
