I have a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Cybersecurity from Clemson University. Throughout this time I also worked as a teaching assistant for a variety of CS classes, managing and instructing labs for groups of 30-40 students. In my final year I was also involved in a machine learning research project, investigating the use of neural networks on live sports broadcasting to correct brand color presentation. More recently, I have been working as a Cloud Platform Engineer on the data science platforms. This involved Jupyterhub & Posit application support, AWS infrastructure ownership, and managing DevSecOps processes through Gitlab CI. This role has honed my expertise in cloud solutions, containerization, and automated deployment, enriching my technical skill set and reinforcing my capability to develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructures. Through this experience, I've not only deepened my understanding of cloud computing and its applications in data science but also strengthened my problem-solving skills, enabling efficient workflow optimizations and innovative solutions to technical challenges.
