I am a student in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working toward a Bachelor’s in Management with a collateral in International Business. I have always strived for success and perfectionism by exceeding expectations. I currently work in the insurance department at 21st Mortgage Corporation where I meet sales deadlines, provide excellent customer service, promote organizational habits for important data, and build up my coworkers through positivity and effective communication. Every week I am tasked with attempting to sell homeowner’s insurance policies to fifty customers, however I always attempt at least seventy customers. I am able to build positive relationships and gain professional experience as a member of the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity. While meeting all of my objectives, I am still able to remain punctual and organizational in my studies by always meeting assignment deadlines. I chose to be a business major because many years ago I began to become infatuated by the concepts and processes that are included in this industry. Also, I feel a sense of satisfaction when I am able to successfully sell an insurance policy to a customer that will not only increase agency sales, but more importantly provide protection for someone’s home and personal belongings. My professional goals include sustainability, effective contribution, and positive relationships toward both my career and toward the company where I am employed.
