Hi there, I'm Mason Saville, a Bachelor's of Communication graduate with a major in Broadcast Media Studies and a minor in English. I have been enthralled by storytelling since I was very young, having used action figures to stage complex narratives before moving onto creative writing as a main outlet for my imagination and the stories inside of me. Getting into Broadcasting as a major was just another exciting means of storytelling that I wanted to explore and a minor in English just made sense given my love for writing, both critically and creatively. I got to further express my love for storytelling through an internships at Global News Calgary in 2021 and a full-time writing gig for a non-fiction book in 2022. But I remain eager to continue to grow my skills in writing, communication, production, and marketing as I explore new methods of storytelling.Also here's some mundane things about me: Sci-fi fantasy reader, lover of rock/metal/alternative music, vinyl collector, and an overly critical film and T.V. fan who probably doesn't like the thing that you like (sorry)
