I assist mail room employees with keeping up with incoming and outgoing mail. This includes mail to and from clients as well as mail to and from the IRS. I assist with keeping track of incoming and outgoing mail and ensure incoming mail is delivered to the appropriate location.

I make calls to the IRS on behalf of Community Tax clients to determine compliance with federal tax regulations. I play a role in assisting clients with tax resolution issues. I assist practitioners in obtaining information on clients’ tax compliance.

I lead the College Democrats club at the University of North Florida. I work diligently with the rest of the UNF College Democrats executive board to ensure events are organized and carried out efficiently. I also work with other Democratic political organizations in Jacksonville and around Florida to advance the Democratic Party’s agenda.

I attend monthly meetings to discuss the state of the Duval County Democratic Party. At these meetings, we discuss upcoming events, financials, registration, and other issues. I am a voting member of the DEC. I work with party leadership and provide my insight when needed regarding party business.

I attended weekly meetings with other student fellows to discuss the state of the campaign and campaign strategies. I met regularly with campaign staff to discuss my role in the campaign. I ran a social media page to ensure UNF students are aware of the U.S. Senate race in Florida.

I worked heavily with the Office Services department to ensure incoming mail was sorted appropriately. I also worked with paralegals, legal assistants, and attorneys in sending out subpoenas for records to corporations and medical facilities. Additionally, I gained valuable experience in the legal realm by filing and reviewing legal documents and discovery.

I worked under the Campaign Manager to ensure campaign events ran smoothly. I attended events weekly to engage with voters. I worked with campaign staff to ensure the campaign had a positive image among young voters. I encouraged young people, particularly college students, to vote.
