As a Cybersecurity major at Michigan Technological University, I am passionate about learning and applying the latest technologies and techniques to protect information systems and networks from cyber threats. I have also completed an Associate's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Security from Bay de Noc Community College, where I gained a solid foundation in networking concepts and protocols, security principles and practices, and system administration and troubleshooting. I have been working as an Information Technology Intern at M. J. Electric, LLC since April 2023, where I provide help desk support, network administration, and information technology solutions to the company's employees and clients. In this role, I have collaborated with the IT team to maintain and upgrade the network infrastructure, implement security policies and procedures, and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. I have also contributed to several projects, such as migrating the company's data to a cloud-based platform, developing a network monitoring and reporting system, and enhancing the user authentication and authorization process. Through these experiences, I have developed my skills in help desk support, network administration, information technology, and cybersecurity, as well as my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
