As a long time member of FPS, I have had the opportunity to compete in Future Problem Solvers Program International (FPSPI), the worlds-level competition, the last 5 years, gaining a spot in the top 3 in the Global Issues Problem Solving (GIPS) consistently. This experience has allowed me to go into communities and schools and present on my involvement with FPSPI, what the program has done for me, in an effort to bring the opportunities the program offers to tons more students.

Brought in guest speakers from industry companies such as Lyft, Microsoft, Amazon and Uber. Hosted workshops to help expose members to a variety of software practices and techniques.

Planned events and organized presentations to increase membership count and retention.

As Lead Programmer, I pioneered a level of control in FTC Robotics previously unseen in competition, providing a balance that gives both precision and complex control.I developed a path-following algorithm, used in industry standard robotics, known as a guided vector field. This algorithm was groundbreaking in that it gave the highest level of both accuracy and speed over the robot, using curvature-based velocity limiting, speed smoothing, and disturbance control.I also derived and created an asymmetrical motion profiler, an algorithm allowing you to set the specific constraints of a robot and achieve maximum speed while not reducing the wear on the robots' systems. I created a paper demonstrating this technique, with a current publication pending.Being a part of a team pioneering the most complex and powerful drivetrain seen in FTC history, the coaxial swerve, allowed me to create and use second-order kinematics as well as develop algorithms tailored to the drivetrain. This overall massively helped increase the drivetrain performance, as well as act as a way to inspire others and help introduce more people into swerve programming through open sourcing on GitHub.

Helped run and manage a 20k+ member First Tech Challenge (FTC) online forum through chat moderation and community management, helping foster a space that helps others learn and grow, as well as meet others and engage in the community.

Achieved the title of "Give 100" four times, acquiring 100+ hours each term of membership in NHS.Volunteered over 500+ hours through my church community, in district schools, or around town.
