Responsible for proactive inventory control and strategic analysis in support of the goals and responsibilities of Storage & Distribution Services as well as the plant warehouse teams. Contributes to the distribution requirements planning (DRP) function to assure adequate maintenance of inventory levels. Oversees the review and approval of third party warehouse invoices to ensure accuracy in budget reporting and attainment. Assures that the company accommodates at least three full internal inventory cycle counts per year and and that all warehouses are "audit ready". Facilitates on-site inventory audits with internal and external auditors and coordinates the collection of required documentation. Oversees the timely completion of third party warehouse reconciliations on a monthly basis. Directly manages and coordinates the day-to-day activities and workload of seven hourly employees consisting of three Inventory Control Team Leads and four Cycle Counters.
