TE Sustaining IPTL/CAM. Duties consist of Maintaining Production TE, responsible for all production sustaining test systems deployed to support the Production Programs. Additional Duties as Production System Test Lead is providing leadership and mentorship for a team of 26 Engineers responsible for the support and maintenance of Production Test Stations used for rate capacity at all levels of assembly (from circuit cards to missile level), inclusive of obsolescence issues, troubleshooting, hardware changes, software modifications, and continuous improvement for the systems to improve factory support. Included in this scope of responsibility is performing factory test capacity analyses, developing plans to meet requirements, and ensuring that the test equipment and processes are sustainable for the life of the production from a factory floor level involvement. I assist in the test strategy improvements, roadmaps, process improvement to minimize life cycle cost of the product and increase the test program efficiency.

As the Factory Technical Director, I am responsible for the technical leadership and technical execution for all aspects of the factory, which serves as the key technical interface to all programs within the factory.As such: my responsibilities expand on driving root-cause analysis, mitigation, corrective action and validation practices; ensuring engineering resources are working issues in support of product deliveries, collaborating across all disciplines to implement system and sub-system solutions; implementing early-warning flags to proactively address issues before they become critical; identifying and leveraging common engineering solutions across all programs within the factory; driving continuous improvement of systemic engineering issues; identifying and prioritizing technical problems that are impacting the factory and driving resolution through the responsible organizations

Functional Manager over 120 employees and two buildings consisting of test technicians, Production Test Engineer, Electrical and Software Design Engineers for all of Fire and Controls Systems with oversight of CCA board test & HP Common Core test platforms as well as all Teradyne test systems and Genrad In circuit test systems. Duties consisted of maintaining metrics, hosting Product Management Teams (PMT), weekly interfacing with VP of operations, custodian of over $60 Million worth of test equipment, oversight in all Test equipment designs.Led a team to enhance process improvement in the manufacturing area by setting up a Manufacturing Tack line with Genrad Pick-n-place, AOI, Flow solder for leaded and SMT technologies, and Teradyne’s new Flying Probe in circuit test system, which allows the systems to feedback deficiencies and inefficiencies in the process of producing CCAs to enhance throughput and rates.
