About Dan Mason

I design and deliver digital media skills training, high-impact journalism projects and consultancy in countries where international experience counts.I believe better communication builds stronger communities. That's my passion and I've delivered projects large and small in over 20 countries, with clients ranging from universities, media organisations and NGOs to local charities. The most important thing I teach is what people need, not what I know. Often, that's as much about confidence as skills. If you want to make a difference with digital media, I'll help you be your best.Pre-pandemic, I designed and led the first MA Sport Journalism programme in the Caucasus region. I'm now based in the UK, Baku and Lagos. Before launching Dan Mason Media 13 years ago I was an award-winning editor-in-chief and CEO of daily UK newspapers and digital news operations.
