About Mason Johnson
I am interested in leveraging my knowledge in Water Resources Engineering to help protect and preserve natural resources, as well as participate in the creation of projects that benefit the public good. I plan to first develop my skills in engineering by working hard and seeing as many varied projects as possible, and after sitting for the PE exam, would love to bring my skills to bear on projects across the country, and the world. I have furthered my understanding of water resource engineering through internship experiences using HEC-RAS, ArcMap, and HEC-HMS softwares. I am interested in the application of modeling and monitoring methods to improve understanding of natural and proposed systems, and to guide the engineering design process. When not working to further my professional goals, I enjoy swimming, cycling, and running. I strive to bring the same enthusiasm and energy that I bring to my exploration of the natural world and athletics to the workplace and hope to inspire others to do the same.
