Mission Assignment Manager reports to the Operations Section Chief and is responsible for preparing, tracking, and monitoring mission assignments (MA) . Coordinates federal support in response to natural or man-made incidents, including terrorism, that result in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the population, infrastructure, environment, economy, national morale, or government functions.Typical Assignments Include:Coordinates and processes activation of Other Federal Agencies, Prepares activation of MAs to OFAs as directed by the Operations Section Chief. Provides technical advice as a subject-matter specialist on MAs.Verifies that all MA documentation is complete, accurate, processed, and approved. Verifies signatory approvals. Addresses MA issues raised by staff, other Federal departments and agencies, or the State.Identifies cross-programmatic issues and works cooperatively with other program areas to resolve. Provides information on MA procedures to OFAs. Vibrant Response 2016, U.S Army North led Exercise designed to simulate a response to a 10kt IND detonation in a Major U.S. city. FEMA Capstone Cascadia Rising 2016, National Level Exercise designed to simulate a 9.0 magnitude earthquake along the Cascadia Subduction Zone (CSZ) and the resulting tsunami.FEMA/Virginia 2018 National Level Exercise, Scenario of a Cat 4 Hurricane strike making landfall near Hampton Roads, Virginia.

While deployed to Ghormoch, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Served as an Infantry Team Leader in a light Infantry Squad assisting Security Forces Assistance Team (SFAT). Led and supervised a light Weapons team in offensive and defensive ground combat missions. Conducted multiple mounted and dismounted combat missions as a driver and grenadier. During operations was responsible for training, and assisting Afghanistan Security Forces in Combat Operations.

Kosovo

While deployed to Kosovo in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I was assigned as a Tactical Operation Center (TOC), Battalion Battle Captain for the 29th Infantry division. As a Battalion Battle captain some of the role and responsibilities include;● Supervising the efforts of staff Non-commission officers (NCO) within the Operation section. ● Conducting analysis and assessment of available information. ● Data entry and report Presentations.● Assisting in the view and dissemination of information within the TOC. ● Assisting in monitoring the location and activities of friendly units. ● Serving as the TOC Officer in charge during the absence of field grade officers. ● Assisting the Operation section during the tactical decision making process. ● Receiving Red Cross messages from Joint Operation Center and disseminating message to appropriate command

Greater New Orleans Area

While deployed to New Orleans in support of Operation Southern Outreach served as an Infantry man attached to D co. 1-148, upon arriving in New Orleans took part in development of Hasty Emergency Operation Center. Conducted evacuation, and security operations in the Super Dome. In cooperation with Federal Emergency Management Agency conducted search and rescue, and recovery operations in Greater New Orleans. Assisted the New Orleans Police department in joint security patrols, and check points. Secured and guarded the downtown New Orleans Federal Bureau Investigation's offices.
