I am a Global Supply Chain student at Brigham Young University, looking to graduate with my Bachelor's Degree in December 2024. At BYU, I’ve taken intro courses on various topics within Supply Chain Management, such as Logistics, Operations, Quality, and Purchasing. A few elective classes I’ve taken include courses such as Global Business Negotiations, Operations Analytics, and Sustainable Business. I have several years of work experience, mostly in the food and beverage industry, that have given me insight into Supply Chain and Business Management. I’ve also had many opportunities to work in teams as well as take on leadership roles. As of Summer 2024, I am an intern with Swire Coca-Cola, an exclusive regional bottler of Coke products, located in Draper, Utah. I am working with the Space Planning team to create an updated database of Coke products in order to maximize our shelf space in stores. **The following are some notable skills of mine:****Process Management:** The fast-food industry has shown me the basics of maintaining a moving process, as well as how to identify certain bottlenecks. I can keep track of several stations at once, and know how to best apply the strong qualities of those whom I'm working with.**Accuracy:** While working at Swire, I am constantly reminded of the need for accuracy in my work. This is especially notable as I sort through and edit information on Coke products, such as names, beverages sizes, units of measure and brand names. **Data Management:** Within the beverage industry, I’ve been given large data sets to be analyzed. In conjunction with being accurate, I understand the need for clean, presentable data and I know how to use various Excel tools to assist me in this. **Effective Communicator:** I know how to address entire teams, whether it be in person or on an online platform, as well as work one-on-one with employees when necessary. I also have experience in relaying messages from management teams and implementing plans with little needed supervision.
