Hello! I recently graduated from the University of Utah, where I earned my BA in Communication with a journalism emphasis. In my last year at the U, I also completed my internship with The Daily Utah Chronicle. For my internship, I worked with the design desk to create graphics and design layouts for both print and digital publications. I learned valuable skills in time management as well as technical skills using Photoshop and InDesign to complete projects. Writing has always been a way for me to express myself and my journalism degree has only expanded my ability to communicate effectively with people through writing, speech and social media. Now I hope to use writing as a tool in my career and to connect with people. On the other hand, design is a passion of mine and I love having the ability to create visuals as another form of communication. Through my work at The Daily Utah Chronicle, I have discovered my love for graphic design and telling stories with images as well as words.
