I want to tell stories through creating films, photos, and other visual arts. I find cameras fascinating, as they are a balancing act. While there are physical variables to balance, (Exposure Triangle, lens specifications, etc.), there are also ideological ones to balance as well, such as the light/dark desired for the finished vision, what is intentionally seen within or hidden from the frame, and of course how that image is intended to be interpreted. At Temple, I was given some really awesome opportunities to hone these skills. Our classes and assignments gave me general experience in the film industry, which all helped me to better understand the process as a whole, and how important each individual is for their own task. In addition to this, I found it is also just as important that the individuals know what isn’t their task.In addition to my camerawork, I've done a fair amount of photo and video editing. It's essential to get the desired exposure in-camera first and foremost, as it will save time in post-processing and ensure the best image quality. I have spent years with Adobe Creative Cloud apps, familiarizing myself with its groundbreaking features. I am most familiar with Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
