From a past experience, I was involved in a non-profit organization by the name of Educational Helpers. Educational Helpers hosts annual homecoming fashion shows to help fundraise money around Northwest Indiana. I had helped with a fundraiser at my mothers salon at a young age, as well as in October of 2019 I volunteered in their annual homecoming fashion show. Being able to be flexible as well as being loyal to my closest friends are two of my biggest traits. When asked to help with their annual homecoming fashion show a couple of years ago, my goal when being asked this was to give them the utmost effort to be able to help them raise the most amount of money for kids in need. At the time, I was juggling school and basketball, but this opportunity of helping with such a great cause was essential for my personal growth. I knew that being able to learn to be flexible with basketball and being loyal to the fundraiser helped show what two of my biggest traits are that will assist in being an exceptional leader in the coming years.
