I am a Project Manager for A&W Coatings. We do specialty applications of epoxy working in mainly water/wastewater environments but anything that has corrosive aspects to its surroundings in pipe, manholes, clarifiers, wastewater tanks, etc. We look to try and find a solution for jobs most companies don't want to do or don't have a solution for. We are a company that has been purchased by Garney Construction out of Middlesbrough, Massachusetts and are looking to spread from the East Coast to the West Coast. We have various projects across the US and intend to build some profit centers over time with continued growth and expansion of our company.

Garney Construction is a large diameter water/wastewater GC that works on the pipe and plant side. My role as a Project Engineer was managing/supporting superintendents and their crews, estimating for upcoming potential work, preconstruction documents and set up, management of the job throughout the life of the project , and closing out the contracts. I've worked on various small projects ranging from 1 million to 54 million in West Texas. I spent 2 years on a project called Vista Ridge Water Supply Project in San Antonio helping complete the biggest P3 contract in North America at the time and Bois D'Arc Lake Project providing water to the city of McKinney. Both projects fell just shy of a billion from the Garney contract side of things.
