I am currently a Systems Engineer at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI), working in the Integration and Test Engineering Branch (ITEB).My primary focus is on the Data Management Subsystem (DMS) for both the James Webb (JWST) and Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescopes (RST), the software subsystem responsible for managing, processing, and distributing data collected by the telescopes. I also support the Wavefront Sensing and Control Software Subsystem (WSS) for JWST, which manages the telescope's optics.My daily duties are split evenly between (1) creating and executing test procedures for the subsystems I support in order to verify and validate system requirements, and (2) writing scripts to automate a myriad of tasks, ranging from regression testing to document generation.
