I work on both front-end and back-end web development projects for the media solutions group. My team is specifically centered around video ad solutions, primarily concerned with log record processing (counting the ad views), and the customer-facing website used by advertisers, content owners, and publishers. Much of my work involves optimizing long-lived processes that must be efficient and free of memory leaks, as they may go weeks or months between restarts.

I worked with the marketing department to develop front-end customer-facing tools to improve the shopping experience on the site. I also worked on the back-end portion of the site providing tools for the sales and support teams to manage customer contact and account fulfillment. My work was primarily PHP and JQuery based, using a custom MVC framework.

I maintained and built web-based information management systems that support trade shows and conferences. I developed with PHP5 and the Zend Framework on top of a clustered MySQL back-end. A smaller, but not insignificant, amount of my time was spent building client websites within a custom-built CMS based on CakePHP.

I built and maintained the website insidesuccessradio.com, expanding its capabilities and adding new promotional tools, as well as handling routine help desk type work. The business itself was a partnership of 5 different internet radio shows focused on different niche aspects of successful living. The website was a PHP 5 / MySQL model, and placed well in the search engines for most of its radio guests.This company no longer exists.
