The APF provides i) a platform for organizing and galvanizing the efforts of the Pakistani American diaspora to enhance their participation in the American society, and ii) serving those in need in Pakistan by assisting in socio-economic development at scale in Pakistan.I have worked for over 30 years in international development assistance in the energy sector working for USAID & the World and Asian Development Banks as well as international consultants. I had the opportunity to go back and work in Pakistan for extended periods on numerous occasions. I migrated to the US in the mid-seventies and made the Washington DC area my home. I enjoy music, walks/biking and reading, particularly about history. I hold a modest portfolio of residential and commercial real estate investments in the DC area. I have an MA in Economics (George Washington University, Washington DC), an ME in Systems Engineering and Management (AIT, Bangkok), and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering (UET, Lahore).
