My role involves working with the product team to identify high ROI opportunities for using ML to drive business objectives and translating product ideas into solvable ML problems. I am responsible for the complete lifecycle of the ML model from the research phase all the way to the deployment and monitoring. Some projects I have worked on are - audio sentiment recognition- determining speech clarity and intelligibility (audio)- speaker recognition (audio)- multi-domain jargon identification (NLP)- semantic similarity tasks (NLP)- active speaker recognition in uploaded videos (audio + computer vision)- content recommendation based on user feedback (NLP)As part of the deployment process I have built several low latency services using AWS infrastructure. I have also built internal tools to surface model predictions for human testing and for monitoring model training metrics. When required I also support the engineering team by building user interfaces using React and Go for admin tasks which support customer interaction and engagement.

- Developed a distributed algorithm for Monte Carlo integrations on largeSpinfoams i.e. large graphs with group theoretic information on the nodesand edges. This allowed us to analyze a model for matter in the Spinfoam approachto quantum gravity for the first time.- Adapted computational geometry algorithms and numerical techniques likeFinite Element Methods for computing physical quantities on fluctuating geometries.This also required developing theoretical tools to define suitableobservables to be computed with these algorithms.

Fredericton, New Brunswick

Explored the use of a dust field to evade the problem of time in quantum gravity. Further developed this theoretical framework to apply Monte Carlo algorithms to compute interesting observables in cosmological models.

Taught and facilitated tutorial sessions in Introductory Calculus, Advanced Calculus and Differential Geometry for groups of 20-30 undergraduates. The sessions involved concept building and hands-on problem solving to allow students to build intuition for the subjects.

Worked with the Fundamental Physics in Radioastronomy group. Simulated propagation delays for Binary Pulsar and Pulsar-Black Hole systems and assessed which post-Newtonian effects would be detectable by the Square Kilometer Array.
