About Rod Mcleod

Currently building the Social Impact Department at Braze. Prior to this role, I led Braze's Communications Team, which included building the function and the team and helping lead our IPO efforts. Formerly VP of comms at Kik, a popular chat platform, and Kin, a cryptocurrency created by Kik. Prior to Kik, I was an account director at Bateman Group, an award-winning communications agency, where my clients included Google Cloud Platform, Lookout, Ping Identity and Pure Storage. In 2013, I was named a finalist for the PRWeek Award for Young PR Professional of the Year. I was also a coach of the University of San Francisco Men's Rugby Team for five years (2011-2016), serving as head coach for three years (2013-2016).
