LEAN SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT:-Used influence management to affect drastic cultural change in manufacturing technology lab group, evidenced by the group adopting and propagating continuous improvement tools such as 5S, visual management and regular team-building activities. -Provided guidance and coaching on lean six sigma implementation for a wide range of chemical laboratory functions including research & development, technical service, analytical, manufacturing technology and scale-up. -Continuous improvement projects included 5S, visual management, cross-functional communications, people development, teamwork, and knowledge transfer. Six Sigma Green Belt project implemented an inventory management system for chemical production lot samples. Earned DuPont Six Sigma Green Belt certification on June 3, 2015.TRAINING SPECIALIST-With drastic organizational changes impending (separation from DuPont), recognized need for and volunteered to develop original training content on individual change management. Researched the subject, developed the content, and eventually reached nearly 150 people over three training sessions. Received very positive feedback that the content changed individuals’ perspective on change and gave them practical tools to help manage change in their own lives. -Developed and adapted content on numerous management skills (feedback, coaching, performance management, change management, etc.) for a technical audience. -Earned certification as an internal trainer following a 6-day intensive training course and evaluation/approval by master facilitators. Facilitated interactive learning sessions on the above topics, incorporating audience feedback to continuously improve quality of training content and delivery.

MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY: -Co-recipient of 2012 DuPont Chemicals and Fluoroproducts Technology Excellence Award in recognition for critical laboratory work, documentation, communication and analysis that helped result in significant quality yield and turnaround time improvements for a particular batch chemical process.-Provided critical troubleshooting, piloting, tolling, and R&D support for a wide range of DuPont™ Zonyl® and Capstone® surface-protectant products. -Developed expertise in the laboratory synthesis of fluorosurfactants, acrylic copolymers, and polyurethanes, utilizing free-radical initiation and metal-catalysis techniques. LEADERSHIP & ENGAGEMENT:-Volunteered to lead the Chambers Works Safety Pulse team (July 2011 to Feb 2013). Was recognized and awarded for this leadership in November 2011. Chaired weekly team meetings to prepare and publish weekly site-wide safety communications, guiding discussion of incidents and key learnings, identifying communication shortcomings and driving improvements, with the ultimate goal of promoting safety awareness and positive safety culture across the site.-Volunteered to lead the site-wide implementation of a work/life safety program called SafeStart® (September 2012 to Feb 2014) for the training of 300+ employees in four 90-minute training units. Chaired site program steering committee meetings, procured training materials, coordinated and facilitated training sessions.

PARASITOLOGY:Maintained experimental and control populations of mice and freshwater snails, including feeding, cleaning, inoculation, feces and urine sample collection, confirmation of infection by microscopic identification, euthanization, and dissection.ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY:Prepared biological samples for analysis using extraction techniques such as solid phase ion exchange and solvent-based homogenization/separation. Analyzed samples using HPTLC and HPLC techniques.
