- Managing as Project Leader, in coordination with the relevant business lines and company functions, the investigation, setting up, negotiation and execution of the assigned acquisition and sale operations (companies, branches, non-exploratory mineral rights and productive assets) and participate as a M&A Reference in all the other cases;- Providing contributions to the Medium-Long Term Plan, Portfolio Evaluation and Competitive Analysis unit for the elaboration of the configuration hypotheses of the Company's energy sources portfolio for the achievement of the related targets;- Supporting the overall assessment of potential opportunities for portfolio development and optimization; managing the network with relevant counterparts within peer companies;- Contributing, for the assigned acquisition and sale transactions, to the process of selecting advisors and, in agreement with the M&A Compliance and Services unit, manage the connections with financial institutions and merchant banks.

- Defining corporate structure and tax strategy in coordination with Business Units, Negotiations and Legal Departments, and ensure that all international transactions within the ambit of M&A (buy and sell sides) and Large Portfolio Acquisitions & Investment are arranged to enhance Group Value/Corporate Optimisation;- Taking part to special inter-functional ad-hoc teams built to successful close transactions and arrange effective integration plans;- Guiding and assisting Subsidiaries in negotiating Joint Bidding Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, M&A and Disposal agreements, Group Loan Arrangements from a Financial and Fiscal Perspective in order to ensure financial optimisation and effective tax management at International/Group Level;- Negotiation and issuance of Parent Company and Bank Guarantees tailored to transactions.

- Providing Eni Group companies with international tax assistance and consultancy services;- Assisting Eni Group companies in managing relations with Financial Administrations abroad;- Contributing to the promulgation of guidelines and policies regarding the specific application of current tax legislation and tax laws in the process of being enacted;- Defining new initiatives to provide opinion and guidance to ensure the evaluation of tax implications resulting from stipulated contracts and other acts;- Participating in Technical Committees and Work Groups on fiscal issues at international foreign Ministries, public institutions or professional associations.

- Active participation in negotiations together with Contracts, Negotiations & Legal Departments to ensure that all International Transactions within the ambit of Mergers, Acquisitions, Large Portfolio Acquisitions and Investment enhance Group Value / Corporate Optimisation;- Ensuring financial optimisation and effective tax management at the International/Group Level of contracts drawn up in respect of Group Corporate Structuring e.g. Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestments, Inter Company/Related part Transactions, Group Loan Arrangements;- Review of Joint Bidding Agreements, Bank and Parent Company Guarantees, Petroleum Concession Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, Leasing and other Financing Agreements.

- preparation, negotiation, development and review of Industrial and Strategic Plans (2007-2010, 2008-2011, 2009-2012);- preparation of Business Plans (CCGT, Storage, Distribution) to assist with attainment of key objectives of the Company;- merger & acquisition analysis which included economic and other analyses to see to the viability and efficacy of possible mergers with all the other leading Multi Utility Companies in the Country to achieve due synergies and possible enhancement of the overall scale of operations of the merged company;- energetic and environmental scenario as starting point of the Business Plan development;- benchmarking and competitive analysis;- business case to allow the Management decision making process;- reports and presentations for the Top Management

- Project controlling which included development of the detailed Business Plan for each model line (Gallardo, Murcielago);- Preparation and development of annual company budget;- Cost benchmark analysis with Audit team focused on effective cost management and control.
