I successfully concluded my Cardiac Surgery residency at the Spedali Civili di Brescia in Italy. During this program, I undertook rotations across leading certified Italian hospitals, affording me comprehensive exposure to the entire spectrum of cardiac surgery, ranging from CABG to heart transplants. My academic pursuits led me to KU Leuven, where I conducted an in-depth exploration of the field of cardiogenic shock and temporary mechanical circulatory support (tMCS) for my thesis. This research at one of Europe's premier institutions provided me with valuable insights into this field.My US experience started as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research (LIMR) in Pennsylvania, USA. In this role, I started to actively contribute to cutting-edge research initiatives, further enriching my knowledge and skills in cardiac surgery.I presently work as Associate Research Professor in LIMR where I will continue to advance cardiac surgery research.
