My name is Massimo D'Addezio and I returned to Italy in March 2022, to my hometown, Pesaro, after living and working in Freetown, Sierra Leone, since September 2019. Overall I have lived and worked abroad for more than 18 years between Europe, South America, Southeast Asia, China and Africa. In addition to the Italian language, I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.In short, my professional path was as follows: at the beginning as a software developer of control algorithms for automatic machines, later as a technician for installation and assistance of industrial machines, finally as a manager and a responsible for the development of projects and for the coordination of teams in different sectors.During this path I have developed excellent skills and competences: initially in IT, software and with internet, later relating to analysis, problem solving and effective time management, finally those relating to team work, both as a player and as a team coach, effective resource management and leadership. Added to these there are excellent communication and relational skills. Furthermore, what has to be highlighted is my tenacity in pursuing company targets with determination and initiative, working effectively both individually and in team and with people from different ethnic groups.In 2018, the desire to put at least once my managerial skills at the service of a community and the most vulnerable led me to stop the work I was doing, despite both the company and the role were favorable to me. So, I went to Sierra Leone to consolidate a project for a socially oriented enterprise.Since I returned I have always worked, accepting various jobs in established companies in the area. In these companies, however, the work projects were not suited with my professional path and expectations. It is leading me once again to think on how much more efficient and productive I could be in an organization which could offer me an appropriate placement, tasks more in line with my profile and more defined targets.
