Responsible for organising the dispatch and delivery of goods, and for staying in touch with other managers in the supply chain process to ensure the management and delivery of stock runs efficiently, and is well co-ordinated.Ensuring that all contractual obligations are fully understood by the warehouse team.Working closely with package engineers to ensure the protection of all freight during transportation.

Responsible for a team of over 15 staff that include drivers and warehouse operatives.Negotiating costs with suppliers, couriers and other third parties.Responsible for making sure that all logistics and distribution activities adhere to environmental legislation and comply with all health and safety requirements.Also in charge of ensuring that all staff are adequately trained and skilled to deliver the qualitative service that is expected of them.Arranging for the purchase and supply of specialist equipment.
