Massimo Grassa was born in 1992 and begins to study the harpsichord in 2013 at the Conservatory "A.Scontrino" of Trapani under the guidance of Claudio Astronio. In the years he has participated in various events such as the "European Day of Early Music", live streaming International in 2014 and in the editions in 2015 and 2016 and at the "Festival Scontrino" in the editions of 2016 and 2017, playing in various concerts and in the opera "Dido & Aeneas". He took an active part in the "International Course of ancient music" held at Romano Canavese in July 2015, playing in various concerts. He actively participated in masterclasses by Elina Mustonen, Claudio Astronio, Terence Charlton, Andreas Staier, Jörg-Andreas Bötticher and Boguslawa Hubisz-Sielska - Muarisz Sielski. In 2015 he won the 3 st prize, section soloists, for the 3rd International Contest of harpsichord "Wanda Landowska" in Ruvo di Puglia and, in 2016, the 1st prize, section harpsichord and orchestra, for the 4th edition of the same competition. He earned a bachelor's Degree in 2018 and a Master's Degree at Conservatory "A.Scontrino" of Trapani in November 2020.
