Project : North Manama Causeway – Road access to Bahrain Financial harbour and Bahrain Bay DevelopmentEmployer : Ministry of work – Kingdom of BahrainEngineer : Hyder Consulting Middle East Contract value: BHD 90 Million ( € 180 Million)Scope : a) 2,42 Km causeway road on reclaimed land and 1,6 Km of existing road reconstruction including improvements of existing junctions b) 2 post-tensioned bridges cast in situ (Bridge 1 – single span, 51,5 mt. And Loop flyover – 8 span 237mt. Long)c) Bridge 2 – a glued segmental viaduct 1,42 Km long of single cell box girders ( two adjacent bridges side by side) including 4 access ramps made of double cell segments. Nr. 2438 segments to be casted in precast yard and to be erected with the Balance cantilever system.

Barberino Del Mugello ( Firenze ) - Italy

The works also included the construction of the new bridge over the Reno river (2 independent joists measuring approximately 574 m each) using the thrust ashlars technique. Over 35 other works include (metal and reinforced concrete) flyovers, boxes (cast on site or prefabricated) and thrust monoliths

Project : Hadath (Lebanon) New Motorway route – Syrian border - Lot: Saoufar-Mderey east Employer : Ministry of work – LebanonContract value: USD 80 millionScope : The job consisted of the building of approximately 3 km of new motorway with the construction of two new junction. The contract includes material moving with approximately 600,000 m3 of rock excavation and the building of two viaducts (max piers H = 85 mt.) with 180 precompressed reinforced concrete beams made directly on site.
