About Massimo Marcarini

Deep managerial experience acquired by holding top management roles in complex, multinational and international systems. With a strong propensity for innovation, technology and major sustainability issues, I have always shown great sensitivity to the development of the company and all the collaborators. During my career, I have developed significant experiences, of reconditioning and evolution of companies, of repositioning of organizations, even of considerable size, of crisis management, always in full compliance with the given target and human resources respect. I developed a number of Merger & Acquisition transactions, developed large-scale and international partnerships and started startups, of considerable size as well. In the various realities I managed, I was able to apply the skills gained in the internationalization and strategy definition of both the market and the product, playing a central role in the transition of leading product companies, but local in terms of the market, in a multinational and global context. I was driving the opening of new markets in Europe, Asia, India and China in particular but not limited to, in the USA and Canada as well as in Latin America. Strategy and internationalization that have included not only the entry into new markets or the adoption of new products but which is also both R&D and production new sites starting up. Since the beginning of my career, in the aerospace field, I have had the opportunity to open up myself to different cultures, management styles and business models both working for various multinationals and living, as a resident, in other countries.I have often dealt with economic and financial issues, studying in depth the elements of management control, income statement and balance sheet. Fundamental was the integration, in the different realities, each with its own peculiarities, of HR strategies and the revision of governance systems to adapt them to changes in markets and operating areas.Among the many experiences, the role I played in the creation, consolidation and development of a research, technology transfer and innovation ecosystem which, starting from the University, was open to enterprises, to the Public Administration and, more in general, to academic and research institutions was key.

They were developed skills in the mechatronic domain, opened local offices to support new customers, developed targeted partnerships and analysis of new products starting from known technologies. - In terms of internationalization, the first market developed was India with the consolidation of two joint ventures and expansion on the Asian market. Main achievements: - Managed with Motorola Inc. and Reply Spa the negotiation for the M&A and all the activities necessary for the agreement and its implementation; defined, in agreement with the Reply, the Concept Reply business plan, the development plan and the necessary resources.
