I'm in charge of monitoring the overall performance of Forward 3000 - Finwave's top solution - on the Oracle database layer. The tasks on which I'm chiefly involved are related to performance tuning of SQL and PL/SQL code, sizing of the hardware meant to host the application, research in the field of Oracle database configuration aiming to boost the overall performance of the application, research and development on PL/SQL code along with design and development of low level libraries in compliance with the best practice suggested by Orcle Corp. on which the developer team will base the application development. Furthermore, I'm very proactive on PL/SQL code review: the activity consists in seeking for bad practices and promote corrective actions consisting in both designing new patterns on which developers must base the code they write, as well as training of the development team to fill evantual gaps or elevate the developers knowledge to higher levels so they can master the interaction between the database instance architecture and the code running in the application.

Development and maintenance of a software for the credit sector. I'm in charge for the back-end development in PL/SQL language on the Oracle database, and of the front-end development in WebRatio RAD tool, in accordance with the specifications given by the business analysts.
