About Massimo Casadei
Welcome to my profile. Here you will find a set of things that form my life, myself. You may or may not like them, but I tried to make the effort to tell myself for who I am. As you read from my description, I like to bring Value. Bringing value means not wasting your time reading incomprehensible and fake things, but rather making you understand if there are the foundations and harmony between us to create a relationship, a network. Because one of the most important aspects of marketing is targeting, i.e. directing your offer to the right audience. And what I have to offer is here, wrapped up in these lines and if you are the right audience, we will connect, otherwise I wish you all the best in your life. I like to bring Value because any commitment or task that is undertaken must be carried out with the maximum possible commitment, also being direct and frank if necessary, but in full compliance with the agreements. I won't bore you on the skills I have, they can be few or many depending on who is reading my profile. Everything is relative and the perception of reality changes constantly in a subjective way. This is why in my profile I have tried to bring myself back to my best, without veils, so that you can have the best perception for yourself at this moment. If you've read this far, Thanks.
Listed skills include Advertising, Retail, Market Analysis, Trade Marketing, and 29 others.

Freelance Marketing Consultant
CurrentAs a freelancer I collaborate on projects on Strategic Marketing, Marketing Consulting and Marketing Training.
Lecturer Of Sales&Marketing Management
CurrentI like the training field, for the following reasons: 1. Transfer knowledge: in some way you give value to what you have done and to your experience, putting it at the service of someone else. 2. You are in contact with young people: I love seeing their eyes full of energy, dreams and hopes. 3. You question yourself: speaking in front of an audience is always a challenge. And what you think is right can be questioned at any moment. But it's nice to question yourself and grow thanks to the comparison. The modules where I had the pleasure of sharing my experience are: - Sales&Marketing Management - Strategic Marketing- Sales Management - Category Management & Trade Marketing
Omnichannel Project Manager
International projects, implementation of a strategy that no one had taken into consideration until the day before, all the colleagues who ask you in the corridor "but you exactly, what do you do?", the total support of the Country management and the Head Quarter in its development and the total dislike of colleagues because they don't understand why you are assigning them more work. Here, how could you say no in front of a similar experience? There are all the connotations to grow and learn new, cool things and put yourself to the test in a certainly challenging context. And what came out was an incredibly fun and stimulating experience, at times very difficult and with some moments of crisis that we have always solved. But in the end I won't hide from you that it was a great experience: first of all we worked on a decisive internal cultural change and then, secondly, on the development of concrete projects to best integrate the corporate strategy at an omnichannel level. In a nutshell, the goal of our work was to give our customer the same experience every time he interfaced with us, regardless of the channel used: Online, Offline, Customer Care, Shop, eCommerce, etc ..
Category Management
Imagine entering a room full of glasses, an infinite number of glasses, first sunglasses and then prescription glasses and for hours you will be busy crossing numbers, aesthetics, collections, trend analysis, etc., all while sipping an infinite number of coffees, sweets and snacks of all kinds, just a few km from Paris. Here, my adventure in Category Management began like this and it was immediately love. Because being able to put hands on the product, select it and cross reference sector studies with what the customer wants is certainly an interesting challenge. Also because it happens that you name your favourite, the one you think is the winning choice and then you enjoy following the results and understanding what you did right or wrong in choosing. However we worked in an international context, the first real challenge in GV for me, I mainly followed the category of optical frames, continuously analyzing performance and main KPIs, to maximize the profitability of the category. Then, after defining the assortment for each season, you defined the price at which to position it according to the internal positioning logic of the category and the brands within it. Then during the season we followed the trends and monitored that the replenishment of the stock was no joke and that the stock level was always optimal in our warehouses and in the store.
Marketing Coordinator Corner Optique
When you do things right, then the promotion takes place. And this is what happened, greater freedom and confidence in action given that what we had started was bringing great results. So we start thinking out of the box and not just doing the homework. The first year was a restyling, now we are faced with a very important challenge, given that the large-scale distribution sign that housed our most important stores decides to close them and in a year we would have found ourselves with 1/5 less turnover.Challenge accepted and we begin to implement actions that will then lead us to an unprecedented development of the business, achieving the annual sales record. In the end, the result is that thanks to great synergy and teamwork, we have led the network to grow in turnover by almost two percentage points a year, over the following 3 years. And at Corner Optique, GrandVision's loser younger brother, we have led internal perception to recognize an identity that has made the business unit very attractive and interesting in the eyes of international management and colleagues who work for the major brand.
Marketing Specialist Corner Optique
I felt that the time had come to get back to marketing, after my studies, I had given up the field because I confess that I was having trouble understanding it. Then the enlightenment, I understand I'm ready to take it back and I want to become as expert as possible. Going from shop to headquarters, changing company and without going through the shops of the new company is a tremendous effort. Because as we are used to doing in Italy, we label everything. And if you have worked in the shop in the last 3 years, they only offer you jobs in the shop. But I didn't want to stay in the shop anymore, I wanted to use my experience to help the shops, now I could be useful. GrandVision gives me this opportunity and offers me to follow the secondary and loser business of the "Corner Optique". It is not my judgment, but what was the perception when I came into contact with this reality. Small shops, within the large-scale distribution, without an identity and which change sign according to the hypermarket where you are a guest. It seemed to me that it was right for me, because it meant getting your hands dirty to relaunch a very noble reality. And thanks to the close collaboration with the sales director of the time, we redid the look of all the stores trying to make them sexier, clear offers and promotions and above all a simplified experience for our customers and colleagues.
Assistant Head Coach
Your absolute favorite Brand calls you and what do you do, don't you go?The Nike environment is one of the most inspiring and unique environments we've ever experienced. You get motivated and you identify with a brand where you start to feel a little Michael Jordan, a little Kobe Bryant, a little Cristiano Ronaldo and so on and so forth. You start running even if you don't like it, Running enters your blood and the energy you breathe in the offices of the European HQ is something I will never forget.Nike is marketing, story telling, branding par excellence. And just being there you learn, you absorb, you are a sponge.A place where being different and unique is a virtue and not something to be ashamed of as often happens in the world out there.Wow, an eye-opening experience.Seasoned with a shop that I took over despite continuing to be not a director but a deputy director, so much so that after 6 months the new director arrived and the first question he asked me was "Why didn't they make you director?". I know, I wasn't bad enough (and I'm proud of it).We broke every record that the store had at the time, trying to keep the focus on a capable and potential Team but easily distracted. Here I met Coaching, because Nike puts a lot of emphasis on personnel training and growth as a channel for growth in results and from there I fell in love with Coaching and this philosophy.
Sport Department Manager
At Decathlon they consider the shop to be yours. You don't run any business risk, so it's a much lighter situation, but since you have responsibilities you have to answer for everything. Are you the department manager? Well, it's as if the department were your shop and you have to know everything: turnover, stock, income statement, people, tools, etc.You manage everything and you're more than multitasking because when the customer comes in, everything freezes. Then to do this they make all the innovation of this world available to you, years ahead of any Retail player in the area. It's like being on a campus, continuous training both in theory and lots of practice. We learn, we work hard, we make sacrifices and above all we assume responsibility for everything. And they deal with the management of critical situations with customers, colleagues, managers. It's an all-encompassing experience and as my first experience in an international company, with the desire to learn as much as possible about the retail world, in love with sport, it was a more than right choice.
