Reporting to the CEO, I was responsible for the production of all EGS 3D scanner lines, coordinating the production team and the logistic/warehousing team. Key goals:• Manage the production lines of OEM 3D scanners, introducing Lean Production methodology• Provide organizational guidance to the Production and Logistic team, with special focus on training and quality assurance• Introduce Quality Management processes for Warehousing, Logistic and Production; set up continuous improvement approaches and data analysis to obtain the required metrics needed to improve the design team focus.• Responsible for shipping goods worldwide to distributors, resellers and customers. Managing the logistics and the shipping of the goods requiring repairs.• I am responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the scanner production lines and processes

Reporting to CEO, I was responsible of the whole IT infrastructure of EGS, including internal servers (Development, Continuous Integration, SAP, Exchange), the internal network (Switches, firewalls), security and deployment policies.Key goals:• Managing the whole IT key infrastructure, strategically thinking at the future needs• Managing the integration with the Heraeus Kulzer International Infrastructure• Coordinating the team of IT operators, with particular focus on training about performance and security

I was leading all the software development team and the hardware fleet distributed across several datacenters (and, later, on the cloud). Responsible to manage large and complex programs, pushing and striving for excellence and responsiveness. Provided organizational guidance and supervision to all projects, taking care of the relationships with the stakeholders and customers management.

Tecnodiffusione is engaged in the wholesale distribution of IT and consumer electronics in Italy, with about 10.000 resellers and customers served and 400 brands supplied. Consolidated sales were ranking the company among the top three in Italy. Uniquely enabled by its internet-based business model, Tecnodiffusione was also focused on delivering technology to resellers.I have led the development of one of the first B2B Italian sites, integrating the legacy order/billing systems with a web-based interface. This led to acquire more than 75% of all customer orders through the website in the first 6 months.I was also responsible of measuring the metrics and the selling performance of the website, coordinating technical improvements and, in team with the marketing office, planning improvements to the UX.

I started my military career as a Cadet at the Italian Naval Academy in Livorno.After 5 years of training in Engineering and management, I have been on duty aboard several Navy ships as part of the technical team leadership, assuring technical efficiency and maintenance of Diesel Engines, Gas Turbines, AC systems.I have lead teams of engineers and experts, pioneering the introduction of modern IT networks on-board Italian Navy ships, testing reliability and security in different network layouts.
