Managing a Network Operations team made up by ten people, both employees and consultants, with the following responsibilities:• Deliver Mobile and Fixed network rollout minimizing any possible impact on customers• Ensure service continuity and reduce faults impact on CB, especially implementing Preventive Maintenance• Deliver operational excellence, perfect voice and best data and video KPIs• Enable and improve automation of Network activities and processes (reduce manual effort, reduce manual checks pre/post activities, simplify operating process, improve troubleshooting phases)• Enable Virtualization starting any new process of NFV Ops in automated way from day zero• Ensure infrastructure security both for internal assets and for consumer/enterprise customers ones• Implement and ensure Cyber Security Baseline• Budget review and negotiation with vendors for maintenance, support and professional services contracts renewal• Explore & implement innovative technologies, processes and organizations• Support Digital transformation Main technologies and vendors handled in my team:• Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Anti-DDoS, IPS/IDS, DNS, DPI, Load balancer, WAF, Mail relay/antispam, Identity and access management, 2FA• Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Arbor, Radware, Infoblox, F5, Allot

• Core network (mobile and fixed) and services operations and security• Design and manage network and services KPIs (performance and quality)• Define operational model for new services• Complex traffic trend analysis with focus on Over The Top services and protocol shaping• Define and deliver dismissal plan for obsolete technologies, through new deployments and upgrades, minimizing costs & risks• Routing, switching, firewalling, IDS/IPS rollout, setup, maintenance and troubleshooting• Legal compliance for ISP liability related to websites take downs (Gambling, Copyright, Frauds...)
