My core competency is in managing complex IT environments where the need of innovations is strongly related to the business and where the cost control is an unavoidable ingredient for the Company. I joined Helpare in Feb 2021. Prior to this, I was in UniCredit S.p.A as Head of Group ICT and Deputy Group Chief Security Officer, UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions as Head of Service Line ICT, Banca Nazionale Lavoro BNL, BNP Paribas group, as Co-CIO, and in Poste Italiane Group as Business Applications Development and ICT Governance Executive for the Group; past experiences include also Banca Intesa Group, as Head of Information Technology coming from more than three years of responsibility as CIO at Albacom.I associate economical and social studies with almost 40 years of experience in IT industry. Starting in early 80s, prior to BNL, I worked for several companies, including Siemens, IBM, Banco di Santo Spirito, Banca Intesa, Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, ENEL and Albacom. I had also international responsibilities as member of IBM laboratories and of IBM HQ in Paris, and I registered three patents in Object Oriented solutions. I hold a PhD on "information society and Collaboration Learning", related to Web 2.0 and Communities of Practices in learning methodologies, and holds a Master degree in Sociological Sciences for Economy, Labour and Organizations. Furthermore, my department supported responsible Group functions answering to Regulator’s requests on ICT topics and control the adoption by Legal Entities of the remediation actions required to make ICT solutions compliant to the Regulator’s requirements. It was responsible to manage the reporting at Group level to monitor the respect of ICT Service Levels and to manage the ICT Architecture cartography of the Group. It was responsible for carrying out the contract management activities for outsourcing contracts in the scope of competence, also managing relations with suppliers and monitoring the cost and performance levels of outsourcing contracts signed by UniCredit S.p.A. with UBIS S.C.p.A. (With the exception of that concerning the Security Services) and SGSS S.p.A. -
