I led IT development, technology integration, technical training, and large-scale project management activities. Over this 8-year period, I managed hundreds of projects that resulted in several million dollars worth of productivity gains or cost savings. I directed the Region Americas conversion from a home grown ERP system to SAP and i2 (currently owned by RedPrairie). I led the development of a massive Collaborative Forecasting & Inventory Management / E-Chain Optimization Project that cut payment-related man-hours 50% and planning time by 80%. A few of the key projects I managed included the development of the eSMI messaging architecture, digital imaging systems, time and attendance interface, and a regional data optimization strategy that served as the foundation for the company's Enterprise data Warehouse & BI solution. I also served as the Lead Project Manager for 3 M&A technology integrations: Nortel Semiconductors, Genesis Microchip, and Alcatel's Microelectronics Division.
