Massimo Tortora has more than 10 years of environmental engineering and consulting experience in the fields of geology and hydrogeology, site investigations and remedial action projects.Comprehensive environmental consulting responsibilities have included field activities, data collection, analysis and reporting and technical task management.Since 2006 he has been working for the environmental sector bringing the broad geological and hydrogeological experience developed in hydrogeology for activities related with soil and groundwater remediation projects.Mr. Tortora has extensive experience in managing and conducting contaminated site investigations under Italian DM 471/99 and D.Lgs. 152/06. He applied a wide range of investigative techniques and risk assessmentMr. Tortora has took part numerous geological studies to support groundwater remediation engineering projects that have included field activities and data processing. Analysis and interpretation of geological data to support the management of site emergency remedial actions.Mr. Tortora participated to numerous soil and groundwater remediation engineering projects that have included in-situ and ex-situ remedial approaches, such as Air Sparging and Soil Vapour Extraction & Bioventing, pump and treat, capping, dig and dump, and monitored natural attenuation.Since 2019 he is involved in the waste management for Wood E & I GmbH – Italy.
