Gaurav Srivastava, aka Masto, is the founder of Bewajah, an organisation dedicated to leveraging the power of arts to foster youth agency and community transformation. With over fifteen years of experience in the arts and theatre, Gaurav transitioned from an engineering background to pursue his passion for storytelling and scriptwriting. He honed his craft under the guidance of Prasanna Sir in Mysore, developing into a seasoned theatre director and writer.Gaurav's work is deeply influenced by Gandhi's vision of self-reliant and active youth. Through Bewajah, he has created inclusive spaces where young people can explore their creative potential and build a sense of identity and purpose. His storytelling initiatives, including his role as a visiting faculty member at NIFT Raebareli, have impacted over 9,000 adolescents and youth across various projects.He also conducts team building and storytelling trainings for NGO's & corporates.Currently, Gaurav is on a mission to teach storytelling to boatmen across Uttar Pradesh in partnership with the Department of Tourism, UP, believing in the transformative power of narrative to empower individuals and communities. Gaurav's academic credentials include a BTech in IT from AKTU, a Diploma in Advertising and Communication Management from NIA, and an MBA in Human Resource Management and Marketing from AKTU.
