As an Analyst for 1898 & Co., I use my passion for data analytics to find economic solutions for our clients within the electric utility industry. My team and I produce high-quality analyses for Integrated Resource Plans, congestion evaluations, and power generation solicitations. In May 2021, I graduated top of my class from the University of Arkansas equipped with a bachelor's in Industrial Engineering and a foundation in data science. As an undergraduate, I grew my technical skill set by learning new programming languages (such as Python, R, and SQL) along with a balance of business and engineering concepts. I am using these skills in my role to provide our clients with accurate and insightful market assessments. When I'm not designing data, I serve as the 1898 & Co. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion representative where I work with other to build an inclusive workplace where a highly diverse group of employees productively work together and feel valued. I also serve on the community outreach committee where we plan monthly volunteer events.I also love to read, go to yoga classes, and volunteer with Inclusion Connections, a non-profit that seeks to strengthen the lives of adults with disabilities.
