A humanitarian worker who has dedicated his career to helping disadvantaged communities and refugees around the world. Currently, working as the Chief Executive Officer of Human Concern USA, a global charity headquartered in Canada. Also worked with several other non-profit organizations, including OBAT Helpers Inc., where he served as the Director of Policy and Partner Engagement, and American Refugee Committee (currently Alight), where he served as consultant. In his early career, he worked for the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN), the largest environmental conservation agency in the world for its Bangladesh Country Office.Throughout his career, Masum has focused on a range of critical issues, including forced displacement, refugee response, food security, and conflict prevention. His work has involved both direct aid provision, such as providing food, shelter, and healthcare services to refugees, as well as advocacy and policy development aimed at addressing the root causes of displacement and improving outcomes for vulnerable populations.Masum holds a Master of Public Affairs in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Environmental and Public Affairs. His academic training, combined with his extensive experience working in the non-profit sector, has provided him with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities associated with managing and leading non-profit organizations.Masum's leadership and expertise have made him an asset to the organizations he has worked for and the communities he serves.
