Working in an agile & scrum environment to deliver the next generation of cloud based secure e-mail solutions. Designing, implementing and maintaining backend AWS based micro services written in Golang. Previously I worked as a full stack developer on the company’s legacy products and made inroads into modernising the primarily Java based tech stack to use both Spring Boot and React. It was for this work and my ability to rapidly assume new technologies that made me a candidate to move into developing the next generation of product. Since picking up Golang I’ve strived to learn the most idiomatic approaches to developing code in the language, not only to write clean and testable code, but also to constructively critique other people’s code during code reviews. Having learned software development through automation testing I continue to advocate the benefits of both test driven (TDD) and behaviour driven development (BDD).

Helping to lead the writing and extension of the test framework, whilst working closely with our system architects to ensure a clean structure.
