US$100 billion of direct and influenced global supplier spend across over a hundred thousand suppliers. This role focuses on building solid supply foundations, technology platforms, operational excellence, data analytics, third party risk management, marketing and communications and sustainability / ESG.

A cross-functional role focusing on a number of process improvement and efficiency initiatives across the Commercial Management / Bid Pricing and Supply Chain within the Global Workforce Solutions business. Key projects include:• Design and build the Supply Chain Productivity and Operations Centre. Involving Analytics, benchmarking, reporting, legal, contract management, strategic sourcing, projects, vendor on boarding and PR/PO processing.• Rolling out a Category and Supplier Management program.• Implementing new SaaS technology to create a centralised contract management function (Gatekeeper), eRFx (Shortlist), vendor registration (Avetta), eProcurement (Zycus), eInvoice (TBD).• Standardise and streamline the Procure to Pay processes across Supply Chain and Accounts Payable to create major process improvements.

Supporting the early development with strategic initiatives, developing features, building out operations, sales and marketing (thought leadership blogs and responding to RFP's), and onboarding of clients.

Key Achievements:• Creating the Singapore Country team covering spend of almost US$1 billion (including the designing and building of extensive off shore Manila Service Centre for of sourcing, purchasing transaction automation, A/P automation, performance analytics and compliance). ROI of US$2.5 mln per FTE.• Managing the Personal Data Privacy Act implementation for the Vendor Workstream for the Singapore Franchise.• Receiving Sufficient Assurance (highest rating) for extensive Internal Audit over a three month period looking at all the key controls. Also passed the Singapore Regulator (MAS) IT Outsourcing Audit with no comments.• Providing the thought leadership of upstream and downstream operational improvement initiatives with Finance, Legal and Accounts Payable such as No PO No Pay, Account Standardization, and straight through processing.

Key Achievements:• Running the program office function and leading a number of the 20 project streams over a six month period to reduce operating costs in AMP Financial Services in New Zealand, producing savings of NZ$2.5 mln p.a.• Member of the AMP Environmental Leadership Team, leading the energy stream with a 50% target reduction within two years. • Mid contract fee negotiation with the Custody and Fund Administration service provider leading to a $5m (15%) saving.• Successfully settling multi-million dollar claims with the Custody and Fund Administration service provider.

Key Achievements:• Providing a US$12 mln saving opportunity to a major banking client in second line maintenance of their ATM network.• Leading the implementation of four projects in contract labour covering market rates, preferred suppliers, non-preferred suppliers and permanent placements. • Developing and implementing “Go for Green” programme, including the development of new products and services, and reducing emissions by 25%.
