Working under contract with NOAA, I supported the National Geodetic Survey - Remote Sensing Division, filtering dense LiDAR datasets for error or inconsistency in the Coastal Mapping Program (CMP). The CMP program works to provide a regularly-updated national shoreline for supporting marine navigation, defining territorial limits, and managing coastal resources. Stereo photogrammetry and LiDAR are used to produce a digital database for a national shoreline.

In this role, I helped Vricon to create intelligence grade 3D maps of areas of interest across the globe to be used in the ESRI suite and other GIS technologies, and collaborated with other technicians, specialists, and analysts to assure the quality of the data delivered to clients.
