Sitting within the PubCo & Brewers channel, I was responsible for a territory spanning 11 postcode areas. Driving volume and new distribution through effective contact strategies with stakeholders within the L&T division. Driving mix and rate through premiumisation with a 51% uplift in Camden Town volume.

I worked with client secondary schools in Nottingham, on both short-term and long-term placements, across the subjects but also for pastoral roles. I developed a desk through business development and effective marketing, to showcase candidates to relevant clients. This was a 360 role, as I would have to vet candidates through a stringent process, take them to market and place. I took my desk to target performance and beyond through consecutive quarters.

In this role I was responsible for multiple aspects of the venue from monitoring the CCTV system and access to organising evacuations and invacuation of the venue. I was also responsible for the ‘Decision Maker’ role of the venue whilst operating out of business hours. The venue can often have capacity sell out events in one half of the venue and Ice Sports and skating sessions taking place in the other half, reaching capacities of 10,000 people. My organisation and multi-tasking skills were utilised here to assist with the coordination and running of the venue from a security and access aspect across multiple systems and communications platforms.

As a Customer Experience Coordinator, I was responsible for the majority of aspects of the customer journey within the National Ice Centre. Be that greeting customers as they arrive, serving customers with Hire Skates, or even assisting them on the ice with coaching. Here my customer service skills were put to the test as I always aimed to ensure the customer experience is excellent.

Sales and Customer Service role, selling a wide range of products, from bespoke Ice Hockey equipment, to team merchandise. My knowledge of Ice Sports was crucial to the role, to always ensure the customer obtained the best product for them and their needs.

Summer Internship spending time in a variety of disciplines. Obtained a brief grasp of the candidate cycle, and managed to place a candidate whilst interning.

As part of the Core Assurance team, I was continuously working on various engagements, liaising with clients and the team I was working in to ensure Financial Reporting Deadlines were met. A number of skills are put to the test here such as Time and Project management, Team work, clear and concise communication to name a few.Working for PwC, who are the second largest of the Big 4, I was exposed to working with numerous blue chip corporations and SME’s who expect nothing less than the highest standard of work to be performed.

Here I was responsible for running the bar and maintaining the high standards set by the Landlord were continually met. I was responsible for Cash Handling, Cashing up, Banking money, Maintaining the quality of the beer lines, overseeing deliveries, Resolving any customer issues etc.

My role included ensuring high quality customer service was always delivered, cash handling and PDQ, maintaining that the correct Sporting Events were being shown at the correct times, serving food and checking back with the customer, ensuring the Bar area was always clean etc.
